Recover Backup Plans and Tasks, and schedules

Thread needs solution

I'm being asked by Acronis Tech Support to uninstall and reinstall Acronis Backup and Recovery frequently to resolve various technical issues.
Each time, I lose all of my Backup Plans and Tasks and the schedule of those plans and tasks.
Also, if I have to reload my PC I lose all of those settings.

Is there a way to recover Backup Plans and Tasks and schedules after a re-install of the software and/or a reinstall of the OS?

I realize the the latest backup may not be associated correctly with the hard drives, but I can re-run a full backup if needed as long as I have the Backup Plans and Tasks.

Recreating the plans and tasks is a pain.

Thank you for your question, let me help you with it.

Unfortunately in case you are reinstalling the software there is no opportunity to save the Backup Plans, thus they should be recreated every time. I completely share your concerns, and would like to apologies for the inconvenience caused. Right now I'm submitting the Enhancement request to the Development and Product Management team, so I'm positive that such feature will be added.

Also I would like to mention that in most cases reinstallation is not required, so I would appreciate if you could kindly specify me the details of the issue faced or a case ID - I will be glad to assist you with it!
