Recover Disc Image to Larger HDD

Thread needs solution

Recently one of my 160gig RAID 0 disks failed, (luckily I've an Acronis9 backup),  I reinstalled the contents of the backup onto larger 250gig drives.  The RAID 0 configuration says the drive is 489gigs (something like that), but once the backup was completed, Windows XP says the drive is only 289gigs approx. Is there a way to make Windows XP recognize the entire new larger RAID 0 disk?  How do I reinstall an Acronis backup image across the entire larger drive?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Dano,

Thank you for using Acronis Products

Please check whether there is any unallocated space from Disk Management (Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Computer Management -> Disk Management). If so right-click on unallocated space -> create partition. Let us know the results.

Hi and thanks for your swift reply.  I was able to solve the unallocated space on the larger disks problem after using Acronis recovery by implementing Easeus Partition Master Home Edition (gratis software) which allows moving partitions and expanding them into unallocated space, worked like a charm :)
