Recovering from dead hardware esxi & virtual server edition

Hi,

I have installed The Backup and recovery 10 virtual server edition. I have 1 Host running ESXI 4.1 Vsphere Essentials. I have installed the Agent on the VM, and since I have no other hardware I have had to install the license server on my Windows 2008 R2 Guest.

So - backups work fine, I have backed up my W2008 Guest to a NAS device. Now I am thinking of disaster recovery... Let's assume that my VM Host died because the hardware died. So, I have a temporary PC I install ESXI on, how do I restore the contents of the .tib file back into my esxi host? I must be missing something really obvious here because the only way I can see of restoring right now is by connecting to the esxi agent (which won't be there) and restoring that way!
