recovering win 2003 server saveed with previous acronis version

Thread needs solution

I must recover a tib saved with Acronis server 9.1 using universal restore version 10.  The recovery says it succeded.  analysis of the log says it found and used the necessary drivers for the new system.  When the recovery boots it goes to the splash screen and then to the progress bar, then stops and reboots.  Starting in safe mode it loads a bunch of driver then stops and reboots.  Universal recovery will recover a test tib of windows xp enen though it says the recovery failed.  are there any issues with Windows 2003 server or with recovering a tib saved with a previous version of Acronis?

Hello Jim,

Thank you for using [[http://www.acronis.com/enterprise/ | Acronis Corporate Products]]

According to the log file, the program has failed to add the necessary drivers.

If I correctly understood you, you have recovered the archive created with Acronis True Image 9.1 Workstation by means of Acronis Backup&Recovery CD. I would recommend you to create Acronis True Image Echo Rescue Media with AUR and to recover the archive again. You can also create Acronis Bootable Rescue Media for Acronis Backup&Recovery based on ISOLINUX.

To do it you should log in to your account, go to the Registered products section -> Bootable media. Download the file.

You can find more information on how to burn an ISO image to a CD here and here.

Thank you.
