Recovery on Acer 4810TG fails

Thread needs solution

I am using windows Vista home premium.
I have just recently installed True Image Home 2010 and tried its recovery facility. I did the standard procedure of restarting the pc and press F11 upon the onscreen instruction. The menu appeared and I chose the upper option and the screen just went blank and the computer remained dormant. I repeated the procedure but with applying F11 on the menu screen to evoke the input box. I entered some commands such as "acpi=off noapic" which I found thru the internet forums. I re_chose the upper choice and this time lines of words appeared on the screen but it froze in the process and the computer just hang. Prior to freezing I have captured an image of the screen and attached it here as acronis.jpg. Can somebody help me please ? Thank you.

Hello Kee,

I am familiar with the issue you are experiencing and will do everything possible from my side to provide you with the complete resolution.

The only way to fix the issue is to update the program to the latest build. This build has the latest version of Acronis loader available for now (Acronis Startup Recovery Manager is based on Acronis loader).  Please log in to your account on our web site to download the installation file. You can learn more on how to download the latest build in this article

Install the latest build, reactivate Acronis Startup Recovery Manager to update the appropriate files and see if the issue remains. If the issue still persists, please create Acronis Bootable Rescue Media based on ISOLINUX and use it instead of Acronis Startup Recovery Manager.

ISOLINUX Bootable Media is usually more up to date than the Acronis Loader one. This is due to the fact a new version of Acronis Bootable Media is uploaded to the web site more frequently than regular product updates are released.

You can find the information on how to download the appropriate ISOLINUX file in this article

Please create ISOLINUX Bootable Media and let us know the results, we should be sure that the program runs flawless for you.

Please let me know if the provided information is not clear or if you have any other question.

Thank you.
