Recovery to KVM limits virtual disc's capacity to 40GB

Hello everyone,
I'm experimenting with "Acronis® Backup & Recovery™ 10 Advanced Server Virtual Edition" and try to recover a backup into KVM.
BUT, virtual discs greater than 40GB are decreased in capacity to match 40GB again, or Acronis fails to recover, depending on actual disc utilisation.
Since I can't imagine a technical interrelationship, it seems arbitrary to me.

Is it a bug or a feature?
