Replaced HArd drive and now Acronis True Image Home 11 will not work

Thread needs solution

I had a hard drive fail. The hard drive was replaced and all the data was saved from the old drive (great). But now I want to restart making back-ups. I created a new directory and was going to start with a new back-up file. Here is the problem, I start the task and it gets to about 2% or 3% and just stops. If I leave it, it will stay for days with no progress. Is there something that I shoud do differently ? The data was saved and copied from the old hard drive to the new one.

Hello Frank,

Thank you for posting your question, I will be happy to help.

To resolve the issue please update SnapAPI module:

- Download SnapAPI update

- Unpack the archive and run the SnapAPISetup.msi file; go through the wizard screens and hit Proceed to install the update.

You will need to reboot the machine to finish the installation.

See if the issue persists. If the issue remains, please download Acronis Report utility available here and run it, create a report and attach the file to your next post. Please compress the Acronis Report output file into an archive (e.g. with WinZip) and attach to your message by browsing for the archive.

This would provide us with detailed information on the hard disk partition structure.

Please let us know the results, we should be sure that the program runs flawlessly. If the provided information is not clear or if you have any other question do not hesitate to post them and we will be glad to answer.

Thank you.
