Restore tib file to different size hard drive

Thread needs solution

I want to create an image of a computer on the network using my backup and recovery bootable media. The computer's hard drive died and was a 500GB. With the hard drive shortage, I was only able to buy a 2TB drive.
If I create the C volume to be 500GB and create a snapshot of the C drive, will I need to buy another 2 TB drive when I go to restore it?

No, you can resize the partition you restore. If the image is not larger as the target partition (or drive) it will work.
