Restoring backup
Hi everyone, this is my first post so please bear with me. I have made a backup and am trying to restore. I select the image to recover, data types is volumes it starts searching then red letters display items to recover Not defined.
I expect I have done something wrong but at present unsure what. Any ideas would be great. Thanks

What OS and what version and build of True Image?
Also clarify "data types is volumes"?

Running windows2000SP4 B&R10 and B&R10 universal restore full versions. I am saving backup to removable hard drive, back up saves ok.
Am using ISO backup from web site to make sure bootable is correct. When trying to restore I can choose image but the next step fails when recovering from media. Hope this makes sense!

Hi Oleg
Thanks for the welcome. i will try and explain my problem. I have made a backup and it has validated succesfully. You can see it and browse the folders etc. I then run bootable disc in new machine and start recovery process. I can choose the TIB file I want to restore, once this is done the software shows the archive which is correct, data type is left as volume, and under content it shows the backup and when it was made etc but underneath this in red writing is the message ITEMS TO RECOVER NOT DEFINED. There is a progress bar which says processing please wait, but nothing happens and the machine is then locked up. You can move the mouse but nothing can be clicked upon. I have tried many ways to get passed this but to no avail. Please can you shed some light on why this has happened.
many thanks uitblinker

Hello uitblinker,
Thank you for your response.
To find the exact reason of the issue we should know how you manage the recovery operation (the step-by-step sequence), because different program modules can be responsible for the malfunction (unfortunately, this information is unavailable in the description, there are a lot of nuances).
Therefore, the fastest way is to create the step-by-step photos of your actions. If you have an opportunity to create them, please do it and send me a Private Message, I will create an FTP account to upload the files.
Or you can contact our Live chat service, please have these photos at hand.
To get the access to Live chat service one should go to this page, under Contact us click on the Start here button, select Have questions. From the pop up select Technical issue with product. Select FULL Version selection \Select product from drop down box. Choose Live chat.
Please keep us informed. Please do not hesitate to ask additional questions if the provided information is not clear or you need a further assistance.
Thank you.
