Restoring Multiple Disks to One Single Disk.
Hi all,
I'm running Acronis True Image Echo v8.
I'm trying to restore a server that has three physical disks to a new server (using Universal Restore) that has one large disk.
When I go to restore and choose the three different disks, it makes you format the destination drive, which makes sense, but it seems once one disk is restored, it formats the destination drive to begin the restore for disk two, basically undoing the first step.
So my question is what is the best practice for restoring multiple disks to one large disk in Acronis v8.
Thank you.

Older versions (at least ABR 10) have a switch to restore data 'as volumes', so that you can restore the system volume, leaving space for others, perform universal restore, then restore other volumes. If other volumes are data only, you can resotre them 'as files'.
