can universal restore be used to setupandinstall software settings, etc fromwin xp pro to win7 from atib created by TI home version 9?

Even without considering compatibility between ABR 10 UR and old home tib ( it's not guaranteed according to http://kb.acronis.com/content/1689 , but guaranteed for Home 2010 (with plus pack for universal restore) ), you can't restore 'merging' the old installed software onto the new os, you can only restore it with the os, replacing windows 7 with win xp.
