Samsung N130 NIC Support
Hi,
We are currently trying to image the Samsung N130 model netbook using Snap Deploy 3. We've updated Snap Deploy to version 3329, and when booting PXE from the clients they dont pick up an IP address and the connection state reports cable disconnected ? I've downloaded the ISO Linux bootable media but it still seems as though the network card isn't supported, can anyone shed any light on this issue as we have around 80 machines to image within the next month. In the past we havn't had any issues in imaging the Samsung NC10 model and various other laptops.
Thanks

Hi Anton,
Thanks for your suggestions, unfortunately we still have the same problem as before. I've attached a screen shot showing Snap Deploy not recognising the NIC. In response to your question concerning the eth0 option being greyed out, no is the answer the screenshot should prove this. Any more suggestions ?
Thanks

Hello Adam Ledger,
Thank you for getting back to me. I appreciate the screenshot that you have attached because it gives us some indication of what is wrong here.
Your network card is detected, otherwise the name of the NIC would not be shown, there is however, an issue with our bootable media detecting your dhcp server.
I will send you a PM right now because I need to send you some personal information including a download link for another media.
Thank you very much for your patience.
If you have any other questions, please let me know.
