Slow backup from remote system

Another issue with ABR10.

Details:
Server1 - Backup server / Acronis Management Server
Server2 - Mail Server, w/ Acronis backup agent pushed down.

Backup server is configured as an un-Managed vault, running 2 backup Jobs.
Job1 = Local back up written to the LUN, time to backup about 30 mins, file size about 30 GB
Job2 = Mail server backup, written to LUN, time to backup 9 hours, file size 290 GB.

Initially when we configured Job2 using a Managed vault, the backup took about 3 hours. But there was issues during cleanup, it needs additional disk space. Acronis support suggested to allocate atleast 301% of additional disk space for consolidation, but not an option. They suggested un-managed vault, so data consolidation wont be needed. But apparently the backup job seems very2x slow. One thing is when we initially pushed down the agent, the Server and the Agent is having a hard time synchronizing, but after sometime about 18 hours, it magically synchronized the agent, I dont understand what happened.

Anyway, please advise on how to speed up backup process?

Support here is very very very slow. Any Acronis tech can give me an advise on how to accelerate the write process? This is issue does not happen when configuring to a Managed Vault(but cleanup process on the managed vault with consolidation is very cumbersome).
