specified files does not exist

Thread needs solution

I just installed TrueImage10 latest version (downloaded today.) I am running W7 Home Premium 64 bit. When I went ot do a partition backup I received the message "Specified file does not exist." It invited me to poin it to the correct spot, but since it didn't say which file it was looking for that was anything but helpful.
Works fine on a second computer with W7 32 bit running. Any ideas about what's up here?

I have the same problem on my system running windows7 64 bit version. This sounds like a ver similar problem on two different operating systems. I would be happy to help but I have not been able to get anywhere with Acronis.

I had the same problem with a minor variation in the wording of the message when I tried to do a system image using Windows Backup. I also tried Seagate's Black Armor backup (that came with my external drive.) Same problem there as well.
The obvious conclusion is that it's a Windows issue, not an Acronis issue. I tried calling MS but their tech kept saying it was a device driver or anti virus problem. So I tried 2 different drives - the Seagate and an HP Pocket Media Drive - same problem again. I also did a clean boot loading only Windows services to eliminate the isssue of the antivirus - same problem there also. SO, the remaining possible culprit is Windows itself. I am planning to go back to MS and push a bit.

Same here. Win 7 64 bit. Acronis and Macrium Reflect produce the same error "Specified file not found" and hangup.
