storage nodes on NAS on a seperate subnet

Thread needs solution

Hi All - I have a storage node setup on a Windows 2003 server running the server and management console. I have set up a managed vault on this node which is located on a NAS, but the NAS is NOT on the same sub net as the Acronis users as the server has multiple network cards with different subnets for load balancing.

Will the storage node mediate access to the vault for the clients across the different subnets?

Yes.

We have a NAS on a private subnet, only accessible to the storage node. All traffic goes through the storage node on the public LAN and the storage node shovels it out again to the NAS.
