Stuck with Universal Restore with LSI 9240-8i card on Lenovo TS440

Thread needs solution

Hi Acronis Support,

yesterday i started a recovery with universal restore (ABR 11) on a Lenovo TS440 with LSI 9240-8i internal controller.

After i specified the driver to be used Windows Server 2008 R2 won't boot.

I then did a universal restore to see the logs. When selecting the LSI driver folder i get the error that wdcfg.exe is not correct or missing. But the folder contains a wdcfg.exe file.

Any hints what to do?

Hi Lutz,

Thank you for your posting! If you downloaded the drivers in *.exe, *.cab, *.zip format, you should extract them first. The driver files should have *.inf, *.sys or *.oem extensions. The product also does not support or install plug and play drivers. For more information please refer to the following part of the docu. I would also suggest checking the driver files with the ChkINF Utility.

Thank you!
