System Reserved Position...

Thread needs solution

Earlier this year I restored a virtual server from a backup. The virtual server has 2 disks. Disk1 contains System Reserved and the C: drive with Windows Server 2008 R2. I recently needed to expand C: and noticed that System Reserved is actually positioned after C: instead of in front of it (See attached screenshot). Yes, I could restore another backup to expand it or some other third party software. But, I would like to correct this situation and push System Reserved to the beginning of the disk. Is there anyway to correct this by restoring a backup?

I currently have version 11.0.17438 installed.

Yes. While restoring the partitions you can change their properties, such as start position and siize. If they got mapped automatically to existing partitions, you have to clear this mapping (all or starting from the last one) and assign target partitions in the order you need. So if you select the system reserved partition first, it wil most likely occupy the 200 mb in the beginning of the disk.
