Task Hangs

Using Acronis Recovery for Microsoft Exchange Server version 1.0 (build 220)
During a backup the Task hangs. No update to the management console, but when I cancel the task the TIB appears in my NAS and appears to be ok. But the Task will only finish when I use the console to cancel it.

What might the problem be?

To localize the issue could you please create a backup to another than NAS directory and see if the issue remains? Please let us know the results.

are you doing backup of the whole information store or some separate mail boxes?? is it a lot of data there? if it is, it can be very slow and seem like it is hung, i had the same shit on my DB.

I am doing a backup of the entire information store. There is not alot in it however. The Main store is only about 6-7GB and the Pub store is only about 500MB.

A side note all works fine when using CDP.

Could you please install temporally the Management Console to another computer and see if the issue remains. I assume that the issue is related to GUI, and this will help to localize the issue.
