Tasks hang in Running state

We have multiple tasks that appear to hang in Running state, such as.. "Full backup - Centralized - Backup (disk) Running 33%, Status=OK. last start time 2 days, 8 hours ago. "

Validation - Centralized - Validation (backup) - Running 82% - Status=OK. last start time 2 days 7 hours ago.

(The % for tasks has not moved in over a day)

If I double click on the task, and go to Progress, for the validation task as an exmaple.. it states that it has ran for 3 minutes and 12 seconds, and has 42 seconds left. But it has been in this condition for over 2 days!
But, if I got to "Backup" tab of that task for every single entry it states "Failed to connect to storage node." and "The vault requires authentication. Please specify credentials".

Does this mean that somehow credentials are lost in the middle of a job? Trying to click on the Please specify credentials doesn't seem to resume the "running" job either.

Thank you for finding time to open the thread regarding this issue, I will be glad to assist you with it.

It looks like the processes hung on the AMS itself, not the Agent. Could you please connect to the Agent and check the task state there?

Should it appear to be hanging on "Running", then the backup and recovery service process got stalled, and we'll need its Userdump. Please also gather Acronis Info, submit a case with the information attached, and let us know it's number.
