There are no licenses for backing up some of the selected data types.

Hi,

I've been using Acronis Backup and Recovery for over a year now, and I've installed all the updates.

Over the past 5 days, backup to an external harddrive has been failing. When I go into edit backup plan, I get the "no licenses for backing up..." error.

I've tried the following.... but nothing has worked.
- Re-entered license key
- rebooted the server
- started the Acronic services.

Sometimes a change of the license key can help but then at least you should have 2 licenses.

I solved the issue by removing the license server and re-install it again.

Does any one have a solution for this? I uninstalled and re-installed, but it just worked for a month for more, then it happened again even I changed the product key to a different one. I tried to contact the help desk support. But, cannot contact them.

Hi MDoan,
You should go to 'Tool'==> 'Managed License' and select your PC.

Now you will see the licenses installed, but you can't see directly if they are expired. So, you have to click on the down arrow and look at the expired date.

In my case, some licenses were expired and I removed these ones. Here after I changed the license in the backup program and it worked.
