TI Home 2009 and HP DAT 72 SCSI

Thread needs solution

I'd like to know if i can use my acronis true image home 2009 with an HP DAT 72 SCSI for a backup

a) of single files;

b) of my entire disk.

If i can use the hp dat 72, is it possible use this unit to restore a backup (of entire hard disk) on system boot ?

I have to use special drivers with acronis true image ?

Hello alv,

Thank you for using [[http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/ | Acronis True Image]]

The home versions of Acronis True Image do not support tape drives. The corporate versions starting from Acronis Backup@Recovery Advanced Workstation support tape drives as storage media. You can create a files/folders backup and a backup of the entire hard drive or partition.

You can get the access to the tape drive from Acronis Bootable Rescue Media to restore the image in the case of system failure.

I may recommend you to install a trial version  in order to make sure that the program runs flawless for you.

Thank you.
