Trouble installing Advance Server 10 on Domain Controller

Thread needs solution

I am trying to install Acronis B & R Advance Server 10 (full licensed version ) on a backup domain controller server. The 'Connect to Management Server' errors out.
I believe the problem is that it cannot access the local user accounts on the domain controller. How do I install on a domain controller?

I contacted Acronis Support, and sent the reqiured reports to them. They have not contacted me with a solution.

Thank you,

Hello Frank,

I am familiar with the issue you are experiencing and will do everything possible from my side to provide you with the complete resolution.

I checked the information you have sent after the chat session,  and I found that the user under which you are trying to connect to the Agent is not a member of Acronis Centralized Admins group.

Please make this user a member of this group in Computer management (make double-click on the user -> Member of, type Acronis Centralized Admins and see if the issue remains. Meanwhile, I will make the appropriate engineer to take care about the e-mail request.

Please let us know the results. Please do not hesitate to ask additional questions if the provided information is not clear or you need a further assistance.

Thank you.

It's worth noting that Local Users and Groups are no longer available once a machine becomes a Domain Controller (at least not on Windows Server 2012 R2)
This means the local group does not and cannot exist.
