As always with acronis and new software - it doesn't work. The old one under Vista was working after tons of updates nearly stable but with Windows 7 everything changes.
When doing a new fresh backup on an external harddrive, TrueImage starts and after a minute nothing happoens any more. Explorer is lock, even the Task manager cannot be accessed. Only hard reset is possible. Wow - Thats a backup software.
Other software like O6O diskimage is working without flaw - but as always Acronis delivers untested software to any customer.

Where can I get my money backm please!

I have had the exact same problem. Crashed within 1 minute of me running the software for the first time, I re-ran it 3 times and each time the same thing. Luckily for me I just went on the trial version. Now to make matters worse I cannot get it to uninstall. What a nightmare.
