Thread needs solution

Acronis Forum,

I am using an RDX backup device and have tried to follow your article over at http://kb.acronis.com/content/5529 but it doesn't appear to be working as planned. I am using Acronis 10.0.11345. I do not have enough space to hold two backups so I have set the retention rule to When there is insufficient space while backing up as stated in the KB articlce. However, it doesn't remove the Archive and the backup fails with an out of disk space error.

Please can someone advise.

Without additional information I can’t be certain of the issue. Could you please provide us with the log file of the failed operation?

- Launch the program;
- Connect Management Console to the Agent; Log;
- Choose the log entry that contains errors;
- Click on the diskette icon Save all to file;
- Specify the location you want to save the file to;
- Compress the the log file and attach to your next post.

Thanks for the reply. I managed to solve this problem by unticking Silent Mode in the job.

However, please can you look at my other post as it is now causing me great problems.
