Trying evaluate B&R10, but....

Thread needs solution

Hello all,

I'm registered, download and install the trial version of ABR10, no problems at here.

Now, when I try create a vault, in local disk of server (in any partition) or in a remote server, I receive all the time the (annoying) same error:

"The vault was not created"

When I click "details, have the information:

"Code: 2,555,960(0x27003
Module: E:\Program Files\Acronis\StorageNode\StorageServer.exe
Message: Failed to add vault 'Imagens'.

Code: 2,555,948(0x27002C)
Message: Failed to create vault 'Imagens'.

Code: 1,314,721(0x140FA1)
Message:

Code: 65,520(0xFFF0)
Message: The specified module could not be found"

Remarks: I installed choosing the option "Install all components" (or something like that) in first screen, so, I don't know why the error saying "module could not be found".

Anybody here could help me ?

Do you have Admin authority on both the Server and the storage device?

Which subset of ABR10 are you trialing?

Yes, have authority in both (and have the same error trying create the vault in local server too).

What kind of vault are you trying to create? Is this the centralized or the personal vault?

I'm trying create the centralized vault, for after this, start configuration of services and testings.

Thank you for the provided information.

Please make sure that the user is a member of the Administrators group. Only the management server administrator can create a centralized vault.

Also please make sure that the Storage Node was added to the Management Server (Storage nodes -> Add storage node ->  Specify the IP/name and the credectials.

In the IP/Name field, enter the name or the IP address of the machine the storage node resides on, or click Browse... and browse the network for the machine.

Use the fully-qualified domain name (FQDN) of the storage node, that is, a completely specified domain name ending in a top-level domain. Do not enter “127.0.0.1” or “localhost” as the storage node IP/name. These settings are no good even if the management server and the storage node are on the same machine, because, after the policy using the storage node is deployed, each agent will try to access the storage node as if it were installed on the agent's host.

2. To provide a valid user account for the machine, click Options>>, and specify:

o User name. When entering a name of an Active Directory user account, be sure to also specify the domain name (DOMAIN\Username or Username@domain). The user account has to be a member of the Administrators group on the machine.

o Password. The password for the account.

Select the Save password check box to store the password for the account.

3. Click OK.

After that see if the issue remains.

Tried everything you sugest, but, no success at moment.

Removed the Storage Node and added again, put FQDN name and specify login and password for access, tried create the vault and KA-BOOM, same error (see attached).

I really dont know where I can go now, the description of ABR10 specs are awesome, but, I can't put it to make a simple test, is hard to justify buy the product to administration.

Thank you for your response.

We have recently released a new build of Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Advanced Server (Build # 11105). Please remove the previous installation and install the new build in accordance with the Installation Guide available here.

See if the issue remains and let us know the results.

Hi Oleg,

I am using Acronis true image Echo Enterprise Server Build 8076. It is set up to automaticaly back up everyday. All of a sudden it gives me the following errors:

10(0x4000A)
65,520(0xfff0)
4(0x70004)
5(0x640005) and
502(0x101f6)

I personaly dont know the program too well. Please help!

Build #8076 is an outdated one. Please download and install the latest build #8353. You can learn more on how to download the latest build here.

Please note that you should update all the components.

If this doesn't help, please download Acronis driver update and install it to the computer with the Agent, reboot the machine to complete the changes and see if the issue remains. This file can applied to Acronis True Image Echo Build #8353 only.
