unable to delete / modify scheduled job.
One more problem with B&R 10 (build 11105).
I'm using an AMS server (build 11105) to manage 5 windows 2003 servers.
When I try to edit / delete a scheduled task, I've the following error message:
"cannot delete policy task"
code: 1(0x1)
description: c:\program files (X86)\acronis\AMS\managementserver.exe
message: protectedstorage.Getblobitem failed.
Can someone help me please ?

Please tell me this is fixed in a released or upcoming version. That is a lot of work to re-do if you have a lot of systems and stagger backups like we do.
Also, here is a feature request:
Add the ability to COPY a Backup Policy to a new name, and then modify it. This would be great for sites that stagger backups to kickoff at different times of the day.

Hello Dean,
Thank you for using Acronis Corporate Products
Actually, this issue is not caused by Acronis software. The reason of the issue is related to the corrupted Protected Storage in Windows. If it is somehow corrupted, Acronis Backup & Recovery 10.0 fails to edit or delete the policy.
We are aware of the problem, our developers are creating a script that can remove the policy and enforce AMS to revoke it from all the agents.
The script will be available in our Knowledge base soon.
About the COPY a Backup Policy feature. The appropriate request has been created.
Thank you.

Hello Oleg,
Is the script available ?
I have 50 servers registered in AMS and it's a lot of work to follow the procedure.
Thanks.

Hello Stephane,
Thank you for posting your question, I will be happy to help. Yes, we have recently created the script, it will available in our Knowledge Base very soon. Meanwhile, I am publishing it in the forum. To resolve the issue please do the following:
2. Extract it to a partition on the machine where the Acronis Management Server is installed;
3. Hit Start-Run -> cmd to enter Windows Command Line and browse to where the script is;
4. Issue the following command:
delete_policy_by_name.vbs "PolicyName"
where PolicyName is the name of the policy. Make sure the name is in the quotes.
For example
delete_policy_by_name.vbs 'Backup 11/26/2009 2:22:31 PM"
You can find out the name of the policy in Acronis Management Server under Backup policies:
5. The script will then delete the policy from the Acronis Management Server.
Please let us know the results.
Please do not hesitate to ask additional questions if the provided information is not clear or you need a further assistance.
Thank you.
