Unable mounting Mailbox Store!

Thread needs solution

After I recovery the server (which has Windows 2003 + AD + DHCP + DNS + Exchange 2003)  with Acronis True Image Advance Server with Universal Restore, the Mailbox Store of Exchange is dismount.

When I try to mount the Mailbox Store, it gives me the message saying that "The database file in this store are corrupted. ID# c104173b. Exchange System Manager.

Note: AD+DHCP+DNS are working fine on recovery to different box but Exchange.

Please help!

Thank you very much for your post. Please accept my apologies for the delay but I will definitely help you with this.

From the symptoms that you describe, it looks like the exchange database was not stopped prior to the backup.

I recommend checking that you have VSS enabled (check the Enable VSS support box in Backup Options) when making the backup and trying to restore one more time. I also suggest the following article from our Knowledge Base that talks about Creating Backup with Complex Applications Such As Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle or Microsoft Exchange Running on the Server.
