Unable to recover from a Buffalo LinkStation NAS

I'm using ABR10 and trying to recover my OS drive from my Buffalo Linkstation NAS. I reinstalled Windows 7 and ABR10 so I can start the recovery. While in Windows, I can see the NAS and connect to the shares. I am able to connect to the NAS as a network device from Acronis, log into the vault, and validate the archives. But when I start the recovery task, ABR asks for a restart then boots into Acronis without the need for the bootable CD. But the recovery fails because it can't see the NAS device.

What can I do to get the NAS seen? Do I need to add the drivers of my NIC (Maxwell Yukon NIC) as part of the recovery task? I tried creating a boot DVD from ABR and chose the Linux start up but that didn't see the NAS either.

Any help would be appreciated.

Are you using the latest build?
If not, also upgrading to ABR11 may help to detect your NIC.
