Unable to update acronis agent

Thread needs solution

Hi,

i'm tryng to update the version of my Acronis Backup & recovery server, but i receive an error on the update of the AcronisAgent.

I've also tryed to unistall the Acronis Agent, but the problem still remain.

The error is:

Welcome to our Forum, and thank you for reporting about the issue. I will be glad to help you.

According to the MSI log, the installer cannot check the license. This might be caused by the following reasons: 

  1. Serial key is missing
    It usually occurs when you have uploaded upgrade serial keys without the licenses of the previous version
  2. The License Server is not available

I would suggest you to reinstall the License Server to any available machine and re-upload the licenses to it, this should solve the problem.

We would really appreciate if you could keep us posted regarding the issue state. If the problem remains, provide us with the exact sequence of steps performed and new MSI log.

I am getting this errors when updating Acronis Backup & recovery 10 from ver 12457 to 13762. I am running Window 7 Ultimate 64bit.

Can you send me MSI log from the installer you're running? It will give us more info on what exactly failed to install correctly.
