New to AB7R10

Hi, I have AB&R 10 Advanced Workstation installed on 3 computers, Universal restore is showing on 2 computers but on the management server I have no option when creating boot media also 1 License is showing unused, On management server in Add & remove programs (windows xp pro) Universal restore is showing as installed, I tried to repair all components with install disk but after reboot AB&R10 broke could not connect to Local machine via management consol. I have restored machine from Image.

could install be corupt? or am i missing something? I have no other problems all else works well.

when you change the password of windows logIn, than you get this failure!! Paßwort bei benutzerkonten wurde geändert!

to solve this problem:

deinstall acrons backup and recovery 10 Agent, and than install

AcronisAgentWindows.msi, ca. 64MB.

I have the same issue.  I have installed the full Advanced Server package over a trial version.  The product installs fine, but will not apply the Dedup & Universal restore licenses.  Reinstall did nothing, other than cause me to have to go into the management server and re-establish my connections to the server vault and workstations etc.....

The folks at Acronis need to come up with a solution here.  Reinstalling is a "rookie" technique.  We need a real work-around here.  When I ran this issue thru support it took two weeks and they are analyzing it as an install issue, when I really just need someone to "hack" the license server too apply the licenses.

Any ideas?

Thanks for reply, I tried uninstalling Agent then reinstalling but know I get an error on boot up briefly (triangle in task tray Acronis management machine is unavailable) but it goes away quick & program works ok, Is this related to Account credentials the Agent is trying to Logon with?. When I reinstalled the Agent it asked for Logon password, I just used my Local Admin account details is this right?

I may just restore from Image unless you have any suggestions, And I still have 1 unused License for universal restore showing available.

I started Image restore on the management server but It took hours the image is stored on my Nas but after booting from media and searching for full disk image file, Acronis started recovery but froze after 30 secs, after many tries I renamed the Image on the Nas because the name had many underscores_ in the name, after remaning to DellNew.TIB it completed restore but cost me many hours.
