Universal Restore failed - Linux

Thread needs solution

Hello!

I try several times to recover a linuxsystem on an other machine with universal restore.
but after recover and reboot the machine, linux always will mount the hd of the "old" machine and failed!

how can i include the hd-driver of the new machine?

It looks like uuid didn't get changed, but hard to say for sure. Could you please send us grub.conf from the machine, and Acronis Linux Report from the bootable media?

You might have to repair the GRUB. I've had to do this after an acronis restore of a linux machine to dissimilar hardware.

Also, I didn't even know that universal restore was supported for Linux. Is this new for version 11?

Yes, Acronis Universal Restore for Linux was introduced in Acronis Backup and Recovery 11. Please take a look at this Knowledge Base article which explains the recovery process in more detail.
