Updated and now having issues

Thread needs solution

Updated Backup and Recovery 11 to 17437. Now I get frequent errors connecting to the Management server and the clients are saying they don't have a license. So my backups have stopped. I tried reinstalling Acronis Components including the license (same on it had) and although the install seemd to work..it didn't transfer the license. The error suggests the license is disabled.
Any thoughts?

Nevermind...got it figured out.

Hi David,

I am experiencing a similar issue, similar in the core error but not due to the licensing server. Got any pointers (just in case your solution may also help me)?

Fyi here are my sets of errors (just when backing up the System volume - every other volume/backup works OK):

Got to love posts like this, really! Please post a solution to your fix.

I am having the same problem.

Thanks.

My solution was to verify the license server and reinstall acronis components on the workstation. During the reinstall process you specify the license server. I guess somehow that connection because broken or corrupted.

Ah thanks, John, for that. I don't think that your solution will help me though. I have uninstalled, cleaned up, installed so many times (including verifying the license server first), each time coming up with some different weird & wacky set of errors.

I wished I had left it with ABR10 instead of ABR11. At least that worked.

I did not have such an issue yet, but found http://kb.acronis.com/content/30947 - maybe that's helpful for others experiencing a "disabled license".
