Upgrading from ABR11 17317 to 17318 Multiple issues.
When updating from 17317 to 17318 I have encountered multiple issues.
Some of the machines that were previosly in the AMS are now null and I cannot connect to them. Some are null and I can connect to them.
Some I can partially deploy new version of the agents to, some I cannot. Even when successfully deploying the agents, I cannot connect to a null system. I cannot remove the null system from AMS to re add it.
One reboot, I can see my configured backup plans in AMS, the next...it's gone. No tasks have shown up since my upgrade to 17318, but backups are running still.
Licenses on systems that were already deployed when attempting to upgrade showed as conflicting licences. Some I was able to reconcile, some I was not.
There is not a whole lot of rhyme or reason to it, it seems fairly random.
My network is a very basic VLAN with a pretty open domain. All windows XP sp2 or sp3 machines. Why all the problems with machines already upgraded to ABR11?
I'm feeling frustrated with the New and not so improved ABR11.
We have two other entire divisions sitting and waiting to see if this product ever pans out beyond a horrible beta before spending probably about 100k on this product and so far, I am a standing Joke.

I finally got tired of fighting this install and completely wiped my management server/storage node server and did a clean install of the latest version on a new clean virtual server.
Things are slowly coming around, the old issues are obviously gone, but I am having issues installing the new client on my target machines on the floor.
On one, the client installed okay, but when I kick off a backup...it "completes" immediately (in one second..), but does not make an addition to the vault and does not actually create a backup.
The other problem is licenses....when I attempt to push the agents to a machine that has the previous version of ABR11 on it, it tells me that there are no licenses available and I cannot get past that point. I have to manually uninstall the previous version at the local machine and then, maybe, it will allow me to install the new version.
When is Acronis going to fix this product?
