Hello,

i already opened a call at Acronis but I'm only today on-site and have to solve this issue fast so I'd like to try it here as well. :)

I created an image of a virtual machine and restored it using Universal Restore on a physical, HP DL 380 G5 maschine, containing a smartArray P400i COntroller - drivers given to the boot Media.

Recovery completes with just a few warnings, saying no nervices have been updated - which is fine for me.

When I try to start the server, it initializes all components and says after that: "Error loading operating system"
I already tried a 'fixmbr' / 'fixboot' but they didn't help.

Any suggestions ?

For all who will ever have the same problem:

A cold boot instead of a reboot will fix this issue... GRRRRRRRRRRR
This cost me a hole day ! ;)
