Is there an option to enable Daylight Saving Time on the ESX(i) Virtual Appliance?

I have the timezone set as GMT -6 America/Chicago but the clock continues to be an hour off as it is not honoring that we are in DST.

I've checked the forums for various terms (DST, Daylight Saving, etc) but didn't really find anything relevant.
