Vmware Vcenter Physical Server with Acronis B&R 11 VE edition

I am researching the best way to implement a backup and DR plan for our virtual environment. Acronis B&R11 VE appears in the documentation I have read to be suitable but I have not yet trialed it or purchased Acronis.

I plan to have a physical server with Vcenter and Acronis B&R 11 VE installed on Windows 2008R2. I consider both of these infrastructure elements as being critical for business continuity.

I am considering used the Direct Attached Storage of this physical server to be the central vault for Acronis also as I have minimal rack space.

I am considering using replication in the backup plans to store backups onto USB vaults for transportation to our DR site periodically. Given that vision, here are my questions:

1. Acronis B&R 11 VE edition allows 1 physical host to be backed up. Can this physical host be the management server itself?

2. If I backup the Acronis Management/Licensing physical server and do a bare metal/universal restore onto a similar server hardware in my DR site, will Acronis licences be brought across and will they work? (I am obviously trying to cover a situation where the entire production data centre is destroyed and I need the key infrastructure items and offsite storage of VM backups in order to get a DR site operational).
