Hi Everyone,

We are using Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Advanced Server SBS Edition and running a simple full back up of the server every day to a USB HDD that is attached to another computer on the network. This task is carried out at 11pm every night.

When we come back the following day the log has a warning and reads:

The archive was successfully recreated.

I check the backup and I can access all the files and everything seems to be OK.

My questions is two fold, is this normal behaviour and secondly is this something we should be concerned about?

Overwriting the backup may occur due to the backup and retention rules settings, but I'm glad to assure you that since you can access the backup and it is valid - there's nothing to worry about. Warning is not an error, it's mostly a notification about normal functionality.
