Thank you for your suggestion. I did as you instructed and the problem persists. I am in contact with technical no-support and they are supposed to have escalated this issue to Tier-2 (whatever that means).
I am not hopeful.

Hello FlyingHorse,
Thank you for replying.
I am sorry that the solution offered me did not resolve the issue. I found your case in our database and it has been escalated to our Expert team. I am confident they will be able to fix this problem. Just in case, this warning does not mean that the backup has failed, you can still continue creating backups.
Please let me know if you need further assistance.
Thank you.

This warning message is caused by the fact that SMTP server's SSL certificate did not pass authentication, and may not be valid when setting up e-mail notification with the SSL encryption enabled.
We have more information about this warning message in this new Knowledge Base article - Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Shows Warning Message in Log "The certificate is not valid."

I have the same problem to the one listed here. I am running Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Advanced Server - Small Business Server Edition.
I have tried the suggested solution and still get the warnings. My backups are completing successfully but how do I get rid of the warnings?
