Weekly offsite backup

Thread needs solution

We have just deployed Acronis Backup and Recovery 10 Advanced Server Virtual Edition to backup a new Hyperviser server and 3 virtual servers to a NAS. That is working well. I would like to have the backup copied to an offsite storage once per week. Is anyone doing this? If so how and do you have an offsite service you would recommend.

Thanks.

I am trying to do the same, to a Synology DS209 NAS Device offsite. I tried the ABR10 FTP option of sending the files to the to the DS209 but the process timed out and did not recover. I tried ISCSI. And I was looking into setting up OpenVPN on the DS209, but that is not trivial, and more for a Linux user, which I am not more than a beginner at so far. Today I was able to access the DS209 over the WAN using a product called Putty, but not sure how I would be able to get ABR10 to send files to the DS209 over that tunnel yet.

There is a lot of information out there, I have researched for hours, but I haven't found a recommended general approach to this yet. On the Local LAN, my Synology DS209 seems to work welll with ABR10, but talking to it over the WAN gts complicated - because when I first tried to attach it via ISCSI, the Synology will not (by design per Synology tech help) broadcast it's WAN IP address - only the local LAN IP adress. So though it can discovered as a target, it could not be logged onto/connected to over the WAN.

I f anoyne know of a case study or a known way to send ABR10 files over the WAN to a Synology NAS (preferably DS209) please let chime in.

Thanks.
