Why Does Acronis Report An Error if the Operation Succeeded?

Thread needs solution

This has been a problem since I installed TI 10. Unfailingly, my scheduled differential backup reports an error while the log shows "succeeded." There is no error (as far as I can see), but it concerns me. The only time I got a clean backup is when I do it manually.

Can anybody shed some light?

Hello Bill,

Thank you for posting your question, I will be happy to help.

According to the provided screen shot, the backup operation has been executed successfully. The dashboard is misleading.

Please make sure that you are using the latest build of Acronis True Image Home 2009 # 9809. You can check the build number by navigating mouse cursor to upper line of the program then press ALT + left mouse button -> Help -> About. If the build number differs from the latest one, please download and install the latest build.  It is generally a good idea to be up to date.

You can learn more on how to download the latest build here.
See if the issue remains. If the issue still persists, please update Acronis scheduler separately:
Please download Acronis scheduler, which is a special utility to update the scheduler service.
Extract the downloaded file, run install.bat and wait for the process to be completed. The utility will automatically update the service. Reboot the computer and re-create the tasks. The issue should be resolved.

Please let us know the results, we should be sure that the program runs flawlessly. If the provided information is not clear or if you have any other question do not hesitate to post them and we will be glad to answer.

Thank you.
