Hi,

I upgraded (no new installation!) my Vista to Win7 (both 32 bit) just one week ago but have a lot of driver-problems with my applications, running on Win7.

I have also an 3 month old full back up and an 1 week old incremental one from my old Vista configuration. Is it possible to overwrite the current Win7 with the Vista back up?

Absolutely - though I wouldn't give up on W7 so easily. You would have far more success doing a clean install rather than choosing the upgrade path. Choose clean install and you should find W7 will install the correct drivers. I know of people who have installed Windows 95 applications onto W7 and it has worked OK.
