Windows 2008 x64 R2 backup failed : Acronis managed machine unavailable
Hello,
I got an issue backupping a Windows 2008 x64 R2 with the lastest build of Acronis B & R 10 (Version 10.1.0.11639).
The serveur Hardware is a DELL T410 with 8GB RAM and 2x750 Go SAS disks.
The OS is Windows 2008 Standard server x64 R2 with lastest MS updates.
- I downloaded the trail version of A B & R 10 and then successully installed it with the trial licence.
- I planned a backup :
- Full backup of the 2 disks
- data backuped on a Linux FTP server on the same LAN
- I launched the backup
- It starts, but after 7/10 minutes, the Acronis Managed Machine service crashed et then the backup failed.
- If i restart the service et then re-launch the console, the service crash again ...
- not much information in the Windows error event log :
I tried to uninstall the product, then reinstall it after several reboots.
Same problem.
Does any one ever had this problem ?
Is there a way to solve it ?
Thanks in advance

Hello Anton,
Thanks for your answer. I sent you an MP with the elements produced by AcronisInfo.
Hope it will help.
I don't think it's a right problem as the backup is launched with a domain Admin Account.
I also tried tu use an account created by acronis, et my owan account.
In both case, same probleme (Crash after 7/9mins of backup).
Best regards,
Julien.

Hello Julien,
Thank you for replying.
I sent you a private message few days ago, where I suggested to try and save the backup to a different location and see if the issue re-occurs.
Also, the Windows System Information file within the AcronisInfo report came out corrupt, I would really appreciate if you can follow-up with me about the backup location and send me a new Windows System Information file.
Please let me know if you have additional questions.
Thank you.

Thank you for your post. I will do my best to assist you.
It is very likely, that the Acronis Managed Machine service is running under an acronis agent user or a user which does not have enough permissions. In order to verify this, I would really appreciate if you can generate an AcronisInfo report and send me a private message with it attached. I will take a look at the information and provide you with a more precise answer.
Just in case, we have 30 days free trial support and if you require immediate assistance you can contact our technical support directly.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Thank you.
