Windows 7 UAC Prompt while Booting with B&R with UR 11133

Thread needs solution

Hi Everyone,
i just installed my Windows 7 and installed also my Backup and Recovery with UR (Version 11133). I also use "autmatic login", because I want to boot straight into my machine, even if I have to boot it up remotely.

So on every login there is an UAC-"Screen" prompting for "Yes" or "No", If I want Acronis B&R to "manipulate" my machine.
What did I do wrong, or is this just another bug in AC B&R with UR?

Please let me know how I can boot up "normaly" without any UAC for Acronis - without dropping UAC at all... :)

Thanks JamFX

There are numerous threads about this already. No, nothing has gone wrong. In Vista I used to get two UAC pop-ups and now in Windows 7 I only get the one.

For me it was related to two entries in the Registry. Have a look in HKLM/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Run and HKLM/Software/WoW64Node/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Run.

The workaround was to create a new scheduled task for this that was set to run at startup, or login, and was set to run with the highest elevated privileges. Those registry entries could then be removed and no more UAC messages.

Hi,

i would apreciate an official statement to this problem. I don't want to hack any registry just for the use of my officialy bought software..... This can NOT be the official solution for any customer!
