Hello,
after Reinstalling VM Tools and a Reboot of the SBS2011 Server i can Logon with the Domain Admin Account but when i start the backup i get an error:
Maybe i have to install some Plugin on the SBS2011 Server for Exchange aware Backup?

Hello Michael,
i think its not a problem of the vm tools.
I think you have to reboot the server to completly disable the UAC.
Maybe vmProtect doesnt give the error that the UAC is activ, because the the registry value is on diable, but this value will be active for the SBS2011 after the reboot?!
Maybe its a possible solution for you?

Hey Dominic
Ok, many thanks I test that tonight.
Have you found a solution to your problem?

Note that for enabling the Exchange-aware backup, you have to provide guest OS login credentials for the selected VM(s) running MS Exchange server. This means that you have to specify a user with domain administrator privileges. User Account Control (UAC) technology introduced in Windows Server 2008 operating system is not natively supported by Acronis vmProtect 7 since the product assesses the VMs data in agent-less mode. So, if UAC is enabled for the user you specify, we would suggest the following possible solutions (either one is acceptable):
1.Disable UAC for the specified user. The UAC can be enabled/disabled via a domain group policy, for example.
2.Specify a different user for which UAC is disabled. For example you can use a built-in domain administrator account which has UAC disabled by default.
3.Install a small (10Mb) "Exchange Backup Agent" inside the VM. For that: run Acronis vmProtect 7 installation package, choose Extract Components option from the menu, extract Exchange Backup Agent .msi component and install the Agent onto the Exchange server where UAC is enabled. Then, you can employ any domain user with domain administrator privileges independently from UAC state.
Cant find the "Exchange Backup Agent .msi" in the install package

Now i have the solution for me.
1 After diasble the UAC you have to reboot the server.
2 Disable in your backuptask -->options-->configuration--> CBT-Backup

Interesting. Disabeling CBT-backup did not work for me. Using vmprotect 7 with sbs2011.
I opened a support case to have this solved.

Dominic/Oliver:
unfortunately http://www.acronis.com/support/documentation/AVMP7/index.html#14884.html described the Acronis vmProtect 7 Exchange Backup Agent before it was added to the setup.
Only the recently released build 5155 has it included, so simply do an upgrade.

And there is an article about Exchange VSS issues in the meantime btw: http://kb.acronis.com/content/31347
