Cannot connect to ANY Share

Thread needs solution

Hi there

Version: 9.0.9767 vmProtect

We have two backup jobs. One on one NAS storage and one on a Windows share. Both orders have worked flawlessly until today.

Acronis has been restarted. Windows machine is restarted. NAS has restarted but Acronis can not access shares from today. FTP is not up for discussion.

On the target system, there is no error and function properly.

What can you do?

Hi Stefan,

It's unfortunately unclear which exact error you receive, but I can guess that the problem could be in name resolution which had broken. Can you please try accessing the share via IP address, for example \\192.168.10.124\sharename\ ? If this address is accessible from vmProtect appliance (if it is connected to proper network) then there should be no problems (assuming that the connection was successful before).
