Change Date-Format of VM annotation "Last Backup"
Recently my vmprotect (yes that was a better product name as it is much easier to google) started to change the date format of the "Last Backup" annotation in the vSphere Client from the international format to the useless and nowhere else in the world used American date format (MM/DD/YY HH:MM:SS AM/PM).
Before that i could easily sort all my vms by that annotation and i could see which vm has the oldest backup state. But now with that stupid date format it ist first sorted by month! And even if the backup took place on the same day it is not sorted correctly because of the am/pm time-format. VERY annoying!
How can I change the format of that annotation?

Hello Vasily,
thank you for your answer. Yes I updated the virtual appliance before that issue occured. I am and have always used a Windows 7 with German locale to install the appliance. So the format shoud at least be the German format.
Is there any possibility to change the format in the busy box console of the appliance? If yes, where and how do I have to do it to not screw up my appliance.
Thank you!

Hi Dennis,
I have just checked both 10535 and 10571 latest builds of Acronis Backup for VMware (German locale) and behavior is the same: the date format in the VM notes is a US one. I'm afraid that this is a hardcoded format for appliance, since there is no way to change it neither from GUI nor from custom settings files. Probably you saw different format when using Windows Agent or in previous version (v8).
Likely we will be able to correct the behavior only in the next version of Acronis Backup for VMware which will be based on new Acronis Backup 12 platform. This new version is on beta stage now, but there is no such functionality (setting up notes in VM properties) yet at all - it will be added later.
Thank you.

Hello Vasily,
this is sad. But I hope it is not too late that the old behavior or a configurable option will make it's way in the new Version.
Thanks!
