Error on backup after changing network share backing up to

Thread needs solution

backup has failed. Please check the log for additional information.

I can access this share an it seemed to authenticate via the agent . I created a new manual backup and get the same result now.

Thank you for your report.

There could be several reasons for these errors:
1. IP of ESX host has been changed;
2. Task contains a VM, which was deleted , or its IP was changed;
3.Task contains ressource pool, which was deleted.

Please try the following solutions:

1. If the IP of ESX was changed, please remove the Host from : Configure->ESX(i) Hosts->Remove Host , restart the Acronis Virtual Appliance and add the ESX host again. Or if you have Windows Agent , please restart VMMS;
2. Edit the task and re-select in the 1st step of backup wizard the VMs which you want to back up;
3. Or re-create the new task with for the same VMs with the same parameters.

For what it's worth, I was running into the same error ("Specified entry does not exists"), and removing and re-adding the host seems to have done the trick, at least with a new task too, which wasn't working before. Not sure about re-running an old task.
