Hi Loren,

Thank you for the follow-up.

From the logs, it appears to be a memory leak and this issue has been addressed in one of the beta builds in Acronis vmProtect 7. I will send you a download link for it in a few minutes via a private message.

Please let me know if you have additional questions.

Thank you.

Hello Arthur,

Thank you for posting and welcome to the Forum.

According to the logs, it appears to be a different issue.

The log file shows the following error:

<event message="Failed to get access to hard disk '[MSA_ESX2] VMA/VMA.vmdk'.
Additional info:
--------------------
Error code: 23
Module: 83
LineInfo: c61573f663f5d98d
Fields:
Message: Failed to get access to hard disk '[MSA_ESX2] VMA/VMA.vmdk'.
--------------------
Error code: 94
Module: 83
LineInfo: c61573f663f5d8d1
Fields:
Message: Failed to open raw hard disk data file '[MSA_ESX2] VMA/VMA.vmdk'.
--------------------
Error code: 208
Module: 83
LineInfo: c61573f663f5d756
Fields: code : 13
Message: VMware_VDDK: You do not have access rights to this file
--------------------" task="Back up VMA naar VMPROTECT7" time="3/16/2012 9:15:21 AM" type="Error"/>

It looks like your user account does not have the proper rights to access the virtual disk.
What did you register in vmProtect - vCenter or a separate host?
Which credentials did you use and what privileges does the user have on this host?

Loren, were you able to resolve the issue?

Thank you and if you need additional assistance please let me know.

Thank you.
