Here is what I have found.
I have formatted the PC running Acronis vmProtect 6. Installed Windoes 7 Professional x64. Updated critical updates, SP1 is on the installation DVD.
Same problem.
I have just installed vmProtect on my laptop, Windows 7 Untimate x64 SP1 etc and it works without problem.
So we have emiminated network, ESXi configuration. All that differs is the windows OS, 7 Pro x64 not working after fres install and Untimate x64 working, old install, around 2 years.
I called support yesterday and they did try to help me but were limited by their knowledge in the KB database the guy was looking thru. They suggested I try to disable VSS in my VM's. I now know this is not the problem.
Is there any admin here that can lookup the EXACT error codes I have and tell me what they mean? I need this fixed.
Cant call phone support ATM there too busy.
Thanks.

Hello David,
Thank you for your post. I am very sorry to hear about this issue, let me help you with it.
Most likely the vmprotectservice has crashed, it is not clear for sure at the moment. I will send you a private message with additional information with additional steps to troubleshoot this problem.
Please let me know if you have additional questions.
Thank you.

Now running vmProtect 7 Beta as a last resort. Not that I can use it in a production situation anyhow.
I now have spend 4 days, 2 more days than allocated to implement this system.
Can support tell me what error code 1080 is and error code 5.
If I create a new task and run it i get:

Is the PC with Windows 7 Professional x64 using UEFI booting?
- Log in to post comments

Yes it is, its running on a IBM x3200 M3. I did update the firmwares in it at the end of last year, around October. Dont have access to the server just now.

Ok, I was running uEFI 1 version old.
I have updated the following with no change:
Updated uEFI version 1.14 build GYE156B
Updated IMM to version 1.32 build YU00D4G
Updated Intel 82574L NIC drivers to 11.14.48.0
There are no other updates available for this machine.
May i ask what prompted you to ask about uEFI?
