Failed to delete old recovery points

Thread needs solution

Hello and good morning

I found no real solution or topic to my issue, that's why I created a new one.
Since 2 weeks I have the problem that my old recovery points didn't get deleted automatic.

We're using 2 NAS which are using the backup task configuration and the same storage rules.
One of them doesn't have this issue, but the other one does.

Anyway here's the warning I get:

Löschen der Recovery-Punkte ist fehlgeschlagen.

Maybe it's related to this error message shown below, but I get this error since half a year and had no problems with it.

Hi Raphael,

According to the error message the backup files are locked by some other processes which access the location. It makes sense to try the following in the same order:

1) Reboot the Acronis Backup for VMware virtual appliance
2) Reboot the affected NAS device and re-try the backups deletion operation

If the above doesn't help please contact our support team for assistance. Remember to attach the full log (View->Show Logs->Save all to file in web console) and a listing of files with their sizes from the problematic backup location.

P.S. The last message you quoted is completely unrelated to the original issue.

Thank you.
